My Diet and Nutrition

Whether you are a martial artist, an athlete, a construction worker, or an IT specialist, diet should be an important part of your life.  Not diet as in Atkins, Weight Watchers, or Nutrisystem, I'm talking about diet as in conscious decisions to eat healthy and therefore live healthy.  This is the first time in human history where our problem isn't a lack of food, it's an overabundance of horrible food.  Good food will honestly change the way you feel, clear your mind, give you energy, real food makes you feel alive.  So many people in first world countries are dying and their deaths can be prevented.  Healthcare is wildly out of control, because so many people have created self induced poisons on a continuous basis.  I'm not trying to push my political views on anyone and I completely respect if you think I am 100% out of my mind, that's fine for me, but what I do want to get across to anyone who happens to read this is quite simple; if you want to feel better, eat better!  Live healthy my friends, there is no point in putting hours upon hours into the gym, only to negate that with bad food.

I eat a very basic and simple diet.  Because I have been trying to lose weight while gaining muscle, I eat essentially the same thing every day and try to drink at least 1 gallon of water a day.

This is my diet:

Breakfast:

  • Ezekiel 4:9 low sodium bread X 2
  • Lots of water, lots and lots of water
  • 1 Banana
  • Handful of raw almonds
Lunch:
  • Ezekiel 4:9 low sodium bread X 2
  • Oven cooked chicken (coated in extra virgin coconut oil)
  • 1/2 Cup 4% Large Curd Cottage Cheese
  • My energy Juice (I'll post a link here later)
  • Handful of raw almonds
Dinner:
  • Ezekiel 4:9 low sodium bread X 2
  • Oven cooked chicken (coated in extra virgin coconut oil)
  • 1/2 cup 4% large curd cottage cheese
